Yael was the perfect doula for what I needed. We discussed my previous birth at our prenatal session so Yael knew just how I wanted to be supported. She was with me from an hour into labor, took me to the hospital and checked me in while my husband dropped off our toddler. I needed a lot of hand holding which gave me the strength to face the pain. Having her by my side, listening, giving me drinks, communicating my incoherent requests to the nurse and midwife was the most calming presence that enabled me to labor naturally. Yael also had some super intuitive input during the delivery which really helped bring my baby down.
Besides being there for me, Yael kept checking in with my husband. She stayed for at least an hour after birth to be with us and the baby, serving me food and making sure I was taken care of, and checked in with me almost daily for the next few weeks. I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive birth experience!

My labor was very gentle to start and she was so patient and present with whatever I needed. She massaged my feet while I slept and watched my kids while I went for a walk with my husband.
She had a beautiful balance of asking me what I needed and tuning in to what I needed without me even telling her. Her hands are so strong and supportive When I needed that firm touch.
