About Me
Hi, I’m Yael.
I’m glad you are here. I am a birth doula serving the Boston area.
My role is to help you feel safe, educated, and supported throughout your pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum experience.
You may have a strong feeling about the kind of birth you expect. Or, you may not have given it much thought. This may be your first birth or you may be a mother of multiple children. Whatever your beliefs or experiences around birth, I can be there for you. I would like to help you look forward to your birth with confidence and peace of mind.
My first experience with birth was at the birth of my 1st child over 14 years ago.
The doula who supported me and my husband before and during the birth made all the difference between it being a scary time of overwhelm to it being a time of strength, focus and connection.
In the past 14 years I gave birth to 4 more children and also supported family members and friends through their own birth experiences. I also worked as a teacher of young children, a job which I cherished and enjoyed every day.
When I shifted careers from teaching to Professional Organizing, I saw that the time had come to realize my dream of becoming a Professional Certified Doula.
I’m excited to bring my strengths as a nurturer along with my experience and knowledge of birth and the postpartum period to you.
